Season record: 36-29-2
Last week: 3-1 (Iowa -6.5, Georgia -13.5, BYU -17.5, LSU +10)
What a year it has been, and thankfully we got back to winning last week. As we head into championship week, my winning percentage is right over 55%. Let’s finish strong as the season comes to a close!

#24 North Texas Mean Green (11-1) @ #20 Tulane Green Wave (10-2) | December 5 | 7:00 PM CT | Yulman Stadium
Line: North Texas -2.5 | Total: 66.5
North Texas is having a historic season, winning 11 games for the first time in school history. The Mean Green is doing it with an offense that leads the country in yards per game at 511.8.
Of course, this kind of season comes at a price for a program like North Texas. Head coach Eric Morris will soon take over at Oklahoma State. That is also the case for Tulane head coach Jon Sumrall, who will be heading to Florida at the completion of the Green Wave season.
On the field, North Texas quarterback Drew Mestemaker has been outstanding. Mestemaker has thrown for 3,835 yards while completing 70.9% of his passes.
On Friday, he will face a Tulane pass defense that has struggled at times. Over a three-game stretch against UTSA, Memphis, and Florida Atlantic, Tulane allowed an average of 378 yards per game. They did manage to win two of those games, however.
Both defenses are middle of the pack. North Texas allows 5.32 yards per play (47th nationally), while Tulane allows 5.43 yards per play (58th nationally).
Offenses should rule the day, and I expect the Mean Green to win that battle. Give me North Texas -2.5.

UNLV Rebels (10-2) @ Boise State Broncos (8-4) | December 5 | 7:00 PM CT | Albertsons Stadium
Line: Boise State -4.5 | Total: 58.5
Last times these two teams met, I picked UNLV despite their inability to stop the run. I shrugged it off since Ashton Jeanty no longer suits up for Boise State. Boy, was I wrong…
Boise State throttled UNLV by a score of 56-31. The Broncos rushed for 294 yards that day.
Boise State quarterback Maddux Madsen has missed the last three games. However, he is expected to return this week.
Madsen’s return is big considering he threw for four touchdowns in the first matchup.
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
I am taking Boise State -4.5.

#2 Indiana Hoosiers (12-0) vs #1 Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0) | December 6 | 7:00 PM CT | Lucas Oil Stadium
Line: Ohio State -4 | Total: 47.5
The biggest matchup of the weekend, and possibly the season comes this Saturday night when Indiana takes on Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship.
The quarterbacks in this game, Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza and Ohio State’s Julian Sayin, are getting headlines and rightfully so. However, the defenses in this game are also remarkable.
Ohio State leads the country in scoring defense, allowing only 7.8 points per game. Right behind them is Indiana, allowing only 10.9 points per game.
While both offenses have big-play ability, they have leaned on their run game quite a bit. Both are top 50 in rushing play percentage. Indiana runs the ball on 59.66% of plays, while Ohio State runs the ball on 54.6% of plays. That should lead to this game being played at a slower pace.
Under 47.5 is the play here.
OUTTA HERE!
