The 2023 NFL Draft will conclude today. However, I would like to discuss something that took place in the second round on Friday evening. That was when the New Orleans Saints took Notre Dame defensive end Isaiah Foskey.

Foskey makes a lot of sense for the Saints with Marcus Davenport on the way out. But there are plenty of players the Saints could have taken in this year’s draft to replace Davenport. Are we to believe the Saints taking Foskey is simply a coincidence after my comments towards him?
Isaiah was the only player on my hypothetical draft board. Yeah, maybe it is simply a coincidence that the Saints drafted him.
However, this is not the first time such an occurrence has happened. Let’s go back to 2021 when I made my wishes about another player known.
The Saints then drafted Paulson Adebo in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Adebo would go on to start in 17 games as a rookie and 12 the following season.

So that is now twice is three years that the Saints have drafted “my” players.
