I am sure you have seen Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney trying to “Griddy” over the weekend. As if his moves were not embarrassing enough, it is a reminder of LSU throttling his team in the National Championship. The dance was originally made famous by former LSU receivers, Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase.
Jefferson and Chase are now two of the best receivers in the NFL. Before they turned pro, the pair terrorized Swinney’s Clemson team.
Again, Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase are not only great receivers, but they can “Griddy” with the best of them.
Now that we have seen the good side of the “Griddy”, it is time for the bad and downright ugly side.
Here are the top five worst “Griddy” attempts.
#5 Mac Jones
I have to admit that Mac Jones’s “Griddy” is not terrible. However, he went to Alabama, and this dance belongs to LSU. No more “Griddy” for you, Mac.

If you thought Dabo Swinney had the worst “Griddy”, you were sadly mistaken. That goes to the Kentucky women’s basketball team for their rendition after beating LSU in the SEC basketball tournament. Considering how bad this “Griddy” is, maybe it was done in a mocking fashion.
