The first episode of Hard Knocks with the Dallas Cowboys airs tomorrow night and how about a drinking game to go along with it? Let’s get started with the rules.

As quarterback, Dak Prescott is the Cowboys’ biggest star and he is coming off a season-ending ankle injury. When the injury is mentioned, that calls for a sip. When the camera zooms in on that ankle, that is a chug.

Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones is one of most well-known owners in sports, so he will likely find his way onto Hard Knocks. When Jones gets shown, take a sip. If he is holding a press conference, finish your drink. If his bus gets shown, take a shot.

Linebacker Micah Parsons is the Cowboys first round pick. This will likely be documented in Hard Knocks, so when a flashback to the NFL Draft is shown, drink.

While Parsons is beginning his career, his teammate Randy Gregory hopes to revive his. Gregory is a talented pass rusher who has missed time due to suspensions. Gregory was suspended the entire 2019 season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Now he enters the final season of his contract with something to prove. When his past suspensions are mentioned, drink. Whenever Gregory talks about having to prove himself, finish your drink.
Rookie skits are a classic part of NFL training camp and Hard Knocks has done a great job giving us a glimpse of them. When a rookie skit is shown, drink. If a rookie impersonates a teammate or coach, finish your drink.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are a prominent part of the Cowboys organization. They even have their own show on CMT. I can imagine the Cowboys cheerleaders will get some air time on Hard Knocks as well. When they do, drink.
Last but not least, COVID-19 continues to be a headline. When COVID-19 is mentioned, drink. If a vaccine shot is shown, take a shot.
What did I miss?
Enjoy Hard Knocks!
