After seeing others’ old tweets resurface, I decided to take a look back at what I have tweeted in the past. I do not expect anyone to search my old tweets, but you never know. Here is some of what I found.

OK, so this one is rather embarrassing. Looking back, I tweeted this after Cam Newton went 6/19 passing for 75 yards in a preseason game against the Bengals. I was ready to write Newton off, and I was very wrong. Newton went on to win NFL Rookie of the Year in 2011 and MVP in 2015.

Here is an early Michael Jordan vs. Lebron take. My math showed that Lebron was 26 years old at this time; however, he did not win his first championship until 2012. These days my brain immediately shuts off upon hearing Michael Jordan and Lebron in the same sentence.

But I do have another Lebron tweet to share.

I do not even know the context here, but it looks like I called Lebron to the Lakers five years ago.

Speaking of context,

Seven years ago, Donald Trump was being roasted by a dude who calls himself “The Situation” and now he is President Donald Trump. Sure, a lot can change, but The Situation was still not funny at all. You can watch here.

OK, let’s get back to sports.

I have only been blocked a handful of times on twitter and Greg McElroy is one that I know of. He was doing questions and answers doing the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft and I guess he did not like my question.

Some people can’t handle the truth.

And I was not done tweeting about LSU and Bama.

LSU had just won the SEC Championship and I was delighted to see that Oklahoma State was on their way to beating rival Oklahoma 44-10. It appeared the Cowboys had done enough to earn a trip to the National Championship.

WRONG!

No further comments.

I tweeted this after Ed Orgeron took over at USC when Lane Kiffin was fired. “Interim Ed” was in full effect leading USC to a win over Arizona.

As you know, Orgeron is now the head coach at LSU. Hopefully, I am proudly displaying this tweet at season’s end.
