We can talk about Butch Jones being on his way out after getting throttled by Georgia or Kevin Sumlin potentially being on his way to saving his job after winning four straight, but as you are aware, LSU just lost to Troy.
Troy.
TROY!
This is a Sun Belt school which has only been at the FBS level since 2001.
Troy wasted no time letting LSU know about, either.

Welcome to Hot Seats, Ed Orgeron.
LSU sits at 3-2 with losses to Mississippi State and Troy. Mississippi State beat LSU 37-7 which is their largest margin of victory in series history. Since then they’ve lost to Georgia and Auburn by a combined 80-13. As mentioned, Troy plays in the Sun Belt with the usual national powers such as UL-Monroe, South Alabama, and Georgia Southern.
LSU has been plagued by injuries, suspensions, and other attrition going back to the offseason. However, this is hardly a valid excuse for a loss in a homecoming game.
LSU now takes on Florida which will be its biggest test to date. Florida is currently 3-1 and undefeated in SEC play. This game would normally have been in Baton Rouge. However, due to Hurricane Matthew and the poor negotiating of Joe Alleva, the Tigers will travel to Gainesville. Last year’s game was ultimately moved to Baton Rouge and Florida defeated LSU on the final play. That sets the stage for an emotional encore this year. Both teams have issues, but while Florida has found ways to win games, LSU has not.
It’s time for Orgeron to guzzle some Red Bull, somehow figure it out, and reenergize the Tigers.
